Dial-a-Ride Paratransit Service
Curb-to-curb “Dial-a-Ride” service for ADA qualified disabled passengers
If you have a disability or health related condition which prevents you from using the bus some or all of the time, you may be eligible for Amador Transit’s “Dial-a-Ride” ADA Paratransit Service. This is a shared ride, curb-to-curb service for the Jackson and Sutter Creek areas. (For passengers outside the Dial-A-Ride service area, fixed-route service can travel by pre-arrangement up to 3/4 mile off route to serve ADA eligible riders. Route deviations will only be allowed for ADA eligible passengers.)
To apply, please do the following:
- Fill out the ADA Paratransit Application, (or have someone fill it out for you), and then have the Professional Verification form signed by one of the professionals listed at the top of that page.
You can also call 267-9395 to apply over the phone and we can then fax the application to your health care provider’s office to complete the Professional Verification form.
- Return the completed application and professional verification to Amador Transit.
