Current Openings

Amador Transit is establishing a “Next-to-Hire” list for Bus Operators.  The following materials must be returned no later than 4:00pm on Friday, January 30, 2015.
The following is required to be considered a complete application packet:

  1. Completed and signed Amador Transit Employment Application
  2. Completed Amador Transit Bus Operator Supplemental Questionnaire
  3. Current DMV Certified Driving Record (printed within last 30 days)
Resumes, letters of reference, and proof of special training and qualifications may be included but will not be acceptable substitutes for required materials listed. Original application materials must be submitted; no faxes or emailed materials will be accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please be sure to check your materials carefully.
·      Once applications are reviewed, selected applicants will be notified if you qualify to move on to the next step, a 3.5 hour video test that scores customer service and people skills. Interviews will then be scheduled for selected applicants based on video testing scores.
Offers of employment are conditional based on clear criminal background check, clear drug and alcohol test and, passing of Essential Physical Function test.
