Your local transit system opened its doors in November of 1977, which translates to over 30 years of safe, reliable transit service to Amador County (service to Sacramento began in Fall, 1999).

Started on a shoestring budget with only 3 small vans serving the lower end of the county, today Amador Transit operates on a 1.5 million dollar annual budget running a fleet of 12 buses with weekday service between all major population centers in the county and into downtown Sacramento.
